The Quit Line can provide a caller aged 18 and up with a 2-week supply of one of three medications:
|Nicotine Patch||Nicotine Lozenge||Nicotine Gum|
Nicotine patches are designed to provide a steady stream of nicotine through your skin over a designated time. They’re usually used for eight to 12 weeks. Nicotine lozenges or nicotine gum are recommended for smokers who want something to turn to when experiencing urges to smoke.
These medications are available to adults with a Wisconsin area code. They are free without a prescription. After you register for Quit Line services and speak with a Quit Line Coach to make a plan, your coach will mail you a 2-week supply of either nicotine patches, gum, or lozenges.
